Hello my Name is Jacob A. Fisher. I am an 8th grader at Defeated Elementary School. My parents' names are Angela and Kenneth Fisher. While at D.E.S. I have achieved some AR awards and not many other awards sadly, but during my 3 years attending the D.E.S., I have played basketball in the gym and outside but not on the team. I have also chosen to try-out for basketball in highschool when I get there. My favorite memory was when we all went to the museum, and then for lunch we ate at an unlimited buffet in a pizza place and challenged each other to eat the most pizza slices. As I look to the future ahead of me waiting I want to tell all of you other people who will attend DES to work hard and believe in yourself, just because you think a teacher doesn’t like you doesn't mean they actually do. Thanks for all the encouragement from the teachers. I would like to tell all future graduates, “I passed here in 7th and 5th grade so please don’t slack off. I’m sure nobody wants to be stuck in elementary school. I slacked off but I got back off of my laziness and I worked hard. Just because I did doesn’t mean you need to.”
