| We are less than two weeks away from the March 1 deadline for TN Promise applicants! As a reminder, students are required to file the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) AND satisfy their mandatory meeting requirement through tnAchieves prior to 11:59 PM on March 1, 2023. Failure to complete BOTH requirements by the deadline will result in the permanent loss of TN Promise eligibility. Students are required to complete and submit the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at StudentAid.gov by 11:59 PM on March 1, 2023 in order to remain eligible for TN Promise! Students were required to attend their assigned mandatory TN Promise meeting to remain eligible for TN Promise. All mandatory TN Promise meetings across the state have now concluded. However, if you have a student that was unable to attend their mandatory meeting, please direct them to review our excuse form policy and submit an excuse form to tnAchieves as soon as possible so they have adequate time to satisfy this requirement. Once a student submits an excuse form, they will receive follow-up communication from tnAchieves to the email address listed on their TN Promise application within 48 hours. This communication will give students access to a mandatory webinar that they must view by 11:59 PM on March 1, 2023 to remain eligible for TN Promise. |
