Hi! My name is Elanie Joyce Mitchell. I am an 8th grader at Union Heights School. My parents are Leslie and Daniel Mitchell. I have officially attended UHS for 10 years! While at UHS, I have accomplished receiving the title of Miss UHS, President of Beta Club, President of the 4-H club, second All-County team, 2nd place for county and state science fair in chemical science, and 1st place in the AMVETS essay competition for two years in a row. I love to play basketball and volleyball, and enjoy watching Atlanta Braves baseball. My hobbies include playing piano and spending time with friends and family. I have made so many amazing memories at UHS, but one of my favorites so far was having a school sleepover with my teammates and cheerleaders. What I will miss the most about UHS are my friends. They are some of the most fun and loving people I have ever met. After I graduate, I will be going homeschooled. I look forward to starting my own company with the help of my parents. After high school, I hope to serve a mission for my church. If I had to give any piece of advice to future UHS graduates, I would say this: you can have a balance between doing your school work and having fun with your friends! But always prioritize your work. I am so grateful for my past teachers and especially Ms. Kittrell for always being there for me. I will miss this place with all of my heart!
