County Dodgeball Tournament Friday, March 26: There will be no outside visitors allowed to spectate.

Clarification: Monday March 15, and all days after that all students (not virtual) will be in attendance everyday. (A and B days tell our 9-12 what classes to attend)

Sophomore and Junior students and parents, see the attached flyer for information about a new early college opportunity in partnership with Cumberland University. For anyone interested, there will be an informational meeting with Cumberland University on Monday, February 8, at 5:00 pm at Smith County Middle School.


School starts back for students on Tuesday January 5th. Same staggered schedule as before (Monday and Thursday A-I) (Tuesday and Friday J-Z) No students on Wednesday.

Vol State has sent out bills for dual enrollment. If you are taking dual enrollment and get a bill please be aware that the financial aid office will not apply the DE grant until a week before classes start. Please ignore this bill and recheck with the business office in mid January if you still show a balance at that time.

Gordonsville High School would like to congratulate Miss Caroline Glover for being chosen the DAR Good Citizen Award for the 20-21 School year.

All FFA fruit and Meat Orders must be turned in tomorrow 11-30-2020 by noon. For students attending class in person tomorrow please turn in FFA fundraiser orders and money to Mr. Rogers before morning break. If you are virtual orders and money must be turned into the front office. Mr. Rogers will receive these orders starting at 7:15.

We want to continue to thank everyone for their support of the Gordonsville FFA. We are providing this update for those students participating in the Fruit and Meat Fundraiser through the Agriculture classes. Our original deadline for turning in our orders and money was Nov 23rd. Orders can be turned in through the front office at Gordonsville High School on the 23rd and 24th. If you wish to turn these orders directly into Mr. Rogers your student may bring them with them to class on Monday, Nov. 30th. If you choose this option please have those orders turned in to Mr. Rogers by Noon. Again we want to thank our students, families, and community for their support of Gordonsville FFA.

If anyone would like to pick up meals for Thursday or Friday please call 615-683-1380 between 7:00 and 9:00 AM to schedule a pick-up.

The last day to sign up for TN Promise is Sunday November 1st. We encourage everyone that hasn't signed up to please sign up. Mrs. Gillilain is willing to help anyone that needs it. We currently have 53 of 72 students signed up.

Senior parents of Cheerleaders, Band Members, and Football Players, need to be at the gate going on to the field no later than 6:15 tonight.

During remote learning, the School Nutrition Program will be offering Breakfast and Lunch to all Gordonsville High School students. Breakfast and lunch will be available daily for pickup between 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. for remote students. A breakfast and lunch can be ordered daily by calling the Cafeteria Manager at 615-683-1380 between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Report Cards are scheduled to go out Tuesday October 13, due to remote learning this week report cards will be posted to Skyward tomorrow.
